Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the official
notification for the 71st Combined Competitive Examination (CCE)
Preliminary Examination 2025 under Advt. No. 71/2025. The
recruitment drive aims to fill 1264 posts across
various administrative and executive roles in Bihar state
departments. Eligible candidates can apply online from
02 June 2025 to 30 June 2025 via
the official website.

| Educational Qualification |

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognized
university by 30/06/2025.

Financial Administrative Officer: Graduation in
Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics from a
recognized university.

Child Development Project Officer: Bachelor-s
degree with optional subjects in Mains from Home Science,
Psychology, Sociology, or Labour and Social Welfare.

Candidates appearing in their final year can apply, provided
they submit proof of qualification before Mains.

Preliminary Examination: Single General Studies
paper (150 MCQs, 150 marks, 2 hours). Negative marking: 0.25
marks per wrong answer. Qualifying in nature; minimum marks: 40%
(General), 36.5% (BC), 34% (EBC), 32% (SC/ST/PwBD/Female).

Mains Examination: Four descriptive papers
(General Hindi: 100 marks, General Studies I & II: 300 marks
each, Optional Subject: 300 marks). Total: 1000 marks. General
Hindi is qualifying (30% minimum).

Interview: 120 marks, face-to-face, assessing
personality and suitability.

Final Merit: Based on Mains (900 marks,
excluding General Hindi) + Interview (120 marks).

Competitive Examination 2025”.

Upload photograph (20-50 KB), signature (10-20 KB), and
certificates (100-150 KB, if applicable).

Pay the application and biometric fee online (biometric fee
exempt with Aadhaar verification).

Review, submit the form, and download the PDF, ensuring
Registration No., Bar Code, and Application No. are present.
